Dr Fraser Thompson is the President of AustCham ASEAN. He also represents Foundation Member, Australian Chamber of Commerce, Singapore (AustCham Singapore) where he is a Board Member, on the AustCham ASEAN board.
Dr Fraser Thompson is cofounder and director at Alphabeta, a strategy advisory business serving clients across Australia and Asia from offices in Singapore and Sydney. Fraser began his career with the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), before receiving a Doctorate and Masters in Economics from the University of Oxford, where he studied as a Rhodes Scholar.From 2006-2011, Fraser was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, working with a range of governments and leading corporates in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, the United States, and in Indonesia. From 2011-2015, Fraser was a Senior Fellow at McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), McKinsey’s business and economics research arm, where he was based in London and Singapore.
